You may have seen I have been a little MIA lately. I stepped away from photography for a few months due to some personal things, but I’m still here. I am limiting my sessions and taking less clients this year, although next year I may expand as I had originally intended this year. This is so that I can still provide the same high level of service to the clients I photograph this year, but be true to what my heart needs at this point in my life. We’ve been through a lot in two months, a lot of trust in God and growth and letting go. In the end this is going to make my photography better, but just know that even though I haven’t been as present on my Instagram and FB as I usually am, that I am still here.
To hold you over until I start shooting my senior sessions for the Class of 2017, here is an image that I made at a MTPPA workshop I attended last week. I’m always striving to learn and grow (and I love to learn!) and am hoping to offer some off camera flash with time, as well as video (a previous workshop this spring!).
Here is my first official off camera flash photo I’ve ever shared. <3 I love how it turned out!! Thanks MTPPA Michigan Triangle Professional Photographers Association for the phenomenal continuing education!
